It Started with a 
Simple Carport

All we wanted to do was build a carport.  We hired a local Sidney contractor, who got the permits and began construction.  Then our assessor told us she wanted inside our building to see what else was going on.  Long story short we exercised our 4th admendment rights and she got angry and raised our taxes 282%.  The carport that cost $52,000 to build was valued at $76,000 for taxes.  The old church we purchased 4 years earlier for $100K was now valued at $382K.  Completely wrong! If it happens to us, it could happen to you.  Change needed to be made.

What Happened?
We fought, we won.....twice.  Taxes down and the County wrote us a $4,500 check.  You can win when you are right!
